January 2024
This month we welcome Ryder Lyne back for her second visit to expand on the content she offered in November 2023. In January, Ryder will be specifically discussing what authors can expect to spend to get published both traditionally and by self-publishing. Ryder will offer specific budgeting strategies so you can make the most of the money you invest in your publication process.
Ryder (she/they) is an accomplished speculative fiction author and professional ghostwriter with roots tracing back four generations in Arizona. Ryder’s academic journey led her through creative writing studies at Northern Arizona University, where she simultaneously cultivated connections within the literary realm as a prolific ghostwriter. The essence of hunting, bushcraft, and a steadfast dedication to natural conservation, ingrained during Ryder’s upbringing, continually shapes their unique
writing perspective.
Actively engaged in Arizona’s independent author community, Ryder passionately works to elevate the literary landscape they deeply cherish. Their mission involves extending support, providing invaluable resources, and sharing profound insights with emerging and established authors alike.
Beyond the written word, Ryder is firmly entrenched in Arizona, ardently advocating for
mental health awareness and her daughter within the autism and deaf/hard-of-hearing
communities. Ryder carves out precious moments to embark on adventures with their
husband, daughter, and two lively shiba inus—creatures she amusingly suspects might
be of demonic lineage.
