In May we welcome Patricia L. Brooks: “Choose or Create your own Critique Group.”

In an encouraging and insightful presentation, Patricia L. Brooks will help you determine where you are with your writing and what you are looking for in a Critique Group. She will show you how to face your fear of feedback and the challenge of sharing your written work. She will help you see where you can help others with your responses to their work and your ideas about writing.

With tips from her twenty years in Critique Groups, Patricia will inspire you to take the necessary steps to determine if an Open or Closed, a General or Genre based group is for you. She will show you In Person or Online assessment meeting possibilities to help you determine if they are preferable. She will encourage you to undertake creating your own membership of appraisers and show you how to do it.
